Students can order a parking permit or purchase transit privileges for Fall 2008 in advance of their arrival to Cornell. A CU Net ID is required to place an order.

Commuter and Parking Services is open until 6 pm every Thursday evening until the end of the spring semester.
Spring 2008 Hours:

EAST HILL SHUTTLE SERVICE SCHEDULE
This shuttle service travels between the central campus and East Hill facilities on Pine Tree Road every 10 minutes, Monday through Friday. Read more...
CORTLAND TRANSIT EXPANDS SERVICE TO CORNELL

PARKING ON THE CORNELL CAMPUS
Parking on the Cornell University campus is by permit only Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Metered areas are open to everyone; fees vary. If you need more information about our bus pass or parking permit programs, contact our office at transportation@cornell.edu, or call 607-255-4600. Please be sure to include your name, local (Ithaca area) address, and phone number.
PARKING PERMITS AVAILABLE
There are several permit types currently available to faculty, staff, and students.
Faculty/Staff Permit Areas (map): C (Crescent lot and Campus Road); G (Parking Garage); K (Morrison Hall/BTI); O (Vet College); T (Route 366)
Student Resident Permit Areas (must live in the associated residences) (map): FH (Hasbrouck Apartments); MW (Maplewood Apartments); ND (North Campus Dorm/West Campus Alternate); SW (Cascadilla/Sheldon Court/Eddygate).
Student Commuter Permit Areas (map): B (Vet College with OmniRide); K (Morrison Hall/BTI); O (Vet College); T (Route 366); C (Crescent lot and Campus Road).
ONLINE PERMIT AND TRANSIT PASS LOOKUP
Faculty, staff, and students can check online to see what permit and/or transit pass they have. The web page will also show the parking privileges associated with your permit. This will work for anyone who has a Cornell NetID.
AlterNetRides: ACTIVE CARPOOL MATCHING FOR THE CORNELL COMMUNITY
Transportation Services has partnered with AlterNetRides to provide all Cornell community members a way to find other faculty, staff, or students to form or increase a carpool. Individuals can save money by sharing the costs of commuting and parking. Visit AlterNetRides to search the database and/or add your name.
OUT-OF-COUNTY TRANSIT SERVICES
Transit service from surrounding areas is available from the following transit providers:
- Chemung/Schuyler County Transit serves Elmira, Horseheads, Watkins Glen, and Ithaca
- Tioga County Public Transit serves Owego, Candor, Spencer, Van Etten, and Waverly
- Cortland Public Transit serves the Cortland area, with service to Cornell, TC3, and Dryden
