The Office of Transportation Services is committed to providing the Cornell Community with viable parking and transportation options. Our office understands the desire of both Cornell employees and students for convenient, accessible parking. We are willing to provide this when space in an area is available.
The special request procedure has been provided for individuals that either have a special circumstance, or need parking in an area that would otherwise be unavailable. If parking in the area requested cannot be granted, Commuter and Parking Services will offer an available alternative.

| Special
Requests |
For special requests that are not based on medical need or physical disabilities, we offer a special requests procedure. Download and print the Special Request Form (in Adobe Acrobat's portable document format [PDF]). Please make sure that all sections of the are filled out, sign it, and return it to Commuter and Parking Services either by fax (607-255-0257) or mail (116 Maple Ave., Ithaca, NY 14850).
Please supply supporting documentation from your department if your request is based on work-related needs. Commuter and Parking Services does not have a "waiting list" policy. Special requests are reviewed and decided on an "as requested - as available" basis. You may resubmit your special request with additional supporting documentation for review at a later date.
Appealing
If your special request is denied you may appeal that decision to the Transportation Hearing and Appeals Board (THAB). Be sure to include additional supporting documentation for the appeal.
