Make parking planning
an integral part of conference or visitor planning. As soon as
you
know when, where, and how many (from 1 on up), let Commuter and
Parking Services
know. Call us at 255-4628 or e-mail us, we'll assist you in making
the best plans
possible. If your conference is big enough, we can even tell you
how to charter CU
Transit buses to accommodate your guests. Even if you're expecting
only a few people we
can help.

General
Parking during regular business hours (Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m.
to 5 p.m.) is provided
to guests at regular permit prices-charged either to the individual
or to a University
department.
If you do not purchase conference parking permits
in advance for your
guests, we strongly recommend that you advise them to stop at
a parking and information
booth as they enter campus.
30-day
advance notice
If you are purchasing conference
permits for your guests, you have a group of 10 or more, and you
provide us with at least 30 days notice, you are entitled to a 50% discount when classes are not in session.
Less
than 30-day advance notice
Even if you give us less
than 30 days notice, reduced rate conference parking permits may
be available for your guests if:
- The event is a memorial service

function
- The event is a special meeting (generally less than 4 hours) for
which the university has invited
dignitaries to campus (e.g., alumni, trustees, or public officials)

We now offer books of short-term permits for loading zones (30 minute limit), visitor areas (2–4 hour limit), and special permit areas (2–4 hour limit), as well as books of full-day visitor permits. These books are not intended to be used for large functions (over 10 people). Call 255-PARK to request books of permits.
- purchase visitor or conference permits to be issued to guests via mail or upon arrival on campus.
- purchase visitor or conference permits to be issued to guests from a list of participants at the parking and information booths.
